Walking Horse Association of Western Canada was incorporated in 1998. We
are a group of walking horse enthusiasts throughout Western Canada who work
together to promote and enjoy this great breed that we all love. |

| Our goal is to establish a positive public image and enhance awareness
of the Tennessee Walking Horse through educational forums, distruibution
of information to the public and to walking horse owners, and through the
support and sponsoring of clinics, shows, trail rides, and other equestrian
events.Meetings are held in September, November, January, March and May
and include information sessions of general interest. |

| Booths |
Each
year we hold a booth in Red Deer AB Edmonton AB.The purpose
is to introduce new people to the breed and to unite Walking Horse owners
throughout Western Canada. Various other displays are held at different
locations throughout the year. Shows |

| Western Canadian Regional Futurity and Show |
This is the annual showcase to show off our breed. Horses are registered in the Futurity Program at birth and compete each year against same age
horses until they reach their graduation year as either 4 or 5 year olds
and compete in the 3-Gait Class to obtain the Graduate Trophy. This show
is the opportunity for breeders to promote their breeding stock. A show
is held in conjuction with the Futurity Program and features line and performance
classes in both English and Western as will as Versatility and Fun Events.

| Great Northern Versatility Show |
| This is our fun show that is held as part of the TWHBEA Regional Versatility
Program. It features events such as 2 and 3 Gait Barret Racing, Pole Bending,
Driving and Jumping in additon to line classes and English and Western Performance
Classes. |

The
Association hosts clinics on an annual basis based on member interest. |
