Bustin' Out The Money

2007 Black Filly - Will Finish 16 Hands
Boo is a pretty refined walky girl. Everywhere she goes she just walks up a storm. She has a huge over striding head shaking gait. She has a gorgeous head with a nice bright eye. She would make an awesome show horse or be an asset to any breeding program. She was lightly started in May 2009 but has very limited riding. She is very relaxed and easy going under saddle and would be very easy to finish. She baths, clips, leads, loads, and parks with no problem. She will be going into training again starting in November 2009. Get her before her price increases with training!

Twitch is the first colt sired by the Final Legacy. He is a gorgeous big black walking boy! He does not have a huge over stride but he covers the ground effortlessly. Like his sire he is going to be very tall but still refined. He will make an awesome trail horse for someone no matter how big. He could also be shown in the trail pleasure division. He has been handled since birth and is friendly. He leads, loads, parks, baths, and clips with no problem. He will be started sometime in 2010. Get him now before his price increases!

Horse Training Available Now Accepting Fall Bookings References Available

I have 10+ years of experience working with horses. I believe in having a respectful and trusting horse from the ground up. I have experience in both western and english. I specialize in training Tennessee Walking Horses but I have also worked with other breeds, mainly Quarter Horses. I am willing to work with any breed of horse.
Horses in training are worked with 5 days a week for about an hour. This may change depending on the age of the horse and its needs.
I am willing to do any type of training from starting under saddle, to more miles, or a refresher course for a horse that has been sitting in the pasture for a while. Horses are started in an arena and once they are ready I take them out as much as possible to get them use to being rode in the open and down the road. For the winter I will be working in an indoor arena so horses can be worked throughout the whole winter.
Training per month including board is $550 due when the horse is dropped off. I can also halter break horses and do ground work. Email for rates.
From the rail to the trail, I can train your horse for anything you want.

Riding Lessons w/ Equine Canada Certified Instructor

Star Walkers is now offering private and semi-private lessons for the first time rider up to intermediate riders. We strive to provide a fun and engaging environment that is safe for students to learn in. Our goal is to create independent, confident, and knowledgeable students who will continue to enjoy horses throughout their lives.
Star Walkers provides quality instruction from an Equine Canada Certified Instructor. Nicole has experience training and showing throughout Alberta and recently has begun teaching. She has experience in both English and Western disciplines.
One of the primary goals of Star Walkers is to introduce riders to gaited horses, particularly the Tennessee Walking Horse. Several well trained lesson horses are available for all levels of riders. Haul ins are also welcome for an extra $5/horse.
Lessons consist of 30 minutes to an hour of riding depending on the age and level of the student. Riders are expected to catch, groom, and tack up their horse before a lesson and take care of it properly afterwards as well. Assistance is provided if necessary. Students should be prepared to spend an extra 30 minutes before and after their lessons. Stable management lessons are also provided to increase knowledge and ability to care for horses properly.
