‘GAITED EXPERIENCE’
May 28th & 29th
With
Terrance & Joyce Moyer

Picture
Joyce is a college graduate, Magna Cum Laude in Business Education and a Master’s Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. She is an adjunct faculty member of the Educational Outreach programs, and holds a teaching certificate with the State of Ohio.

Add 41 years of professional tax accounting to this skill set plus a lifetime of equine horsemanship, breeding and farm management. Plus, she is an avid horsewoman and enjoys leading trail rides.
Joyce holds a lifetime membership in TWHBEA and NWHA. She has served on most of the committees for the Breeder’s Association and has been on the Executive Committee for 5 years as VP Youth and VP Marketing. Joyce is also a Certified Riding Instructor per TWHBEA’s regulations.

Husband, Terrance, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts from the Bowling Green State University. He jokingly says “that means he knows a little about a lot of things and not a whole lot about most things”. Terrance works for the Ford Motor Company, manages Maple Crest Farms, and provides assistance in data entry for Moyer Accounting Services. At the farm Terrance instructs both riders and horses for increased skills, manages the breeding program including acquisition and sale of qualified stock, and enjoys for trail riding and the show ring. He is a lifetime member of TWHBEA and NWHA and  a Certified Riding Instructor through TWHBEA.  Terrance prefers a natural horsemanship approach used to increase balanced riding skills for correct athletic gaits of the horse.

Together we have been blessed in traveling to Chile, South America to initiate a program to import Tennessee Walking Horses. This would be the entrance of the first gaited horse to this country. We traveled to Belgium, northern, and southern Germany provided through TWHBEA USLG funds presenting horsemanship clinics.

Looking forward to meeting and joining you folks way, way, way up north in Canada. Going to be an adventure!
